I am starting a new thing where I blog about losing weight. I am at the start of a long journey to lose weight and get fit and healthy by eating right and exercising. I call it the “hard way” because it’s not just a quick fix for now, not a fad, and not a pill. This is the real way to lose weight, and it’s going to take sweat and tears and self-control and behavior modification.

    You’re very pretty. I know how you feel though. I weigh the same i’m trying to lose it, it is possible. I was 45lbs heavier about 3 or 4 months ago and I lost it. I need to still lose about 40-50 more lbs though. Also people who are active do eat alot. I used to eat 5 to 6 times a day and i was dropping weight like crazy. but you still want to stay in the 1500 to 1800 cal zone. Moderation is key. =) Good luck to you. Stay positive and don’t get discouraged, you can do it.

My goal weight is 130 but i’d be happy with something in a 150 range. I’ve had three kids and i just really want the body i had before they where born…to a degree. : )

I currently weight about 195 and I have that same thing, same stomach fat as well, but I am only 5’2″ so I look much fatter than you did at this weight.     ChouBunny, all i can really advise for you is a healthy diet, and cardio.
    Keeping a healthy diet is really quite easy, im a body builder so i need to keep myself in good form. What i have is oats with raisins in the morning with semi skimmed milk, then another 5 small meals, e.g, vegatables with low fat sauce, red beans, healthy soup, etc..
    Also, for your cardio, i suggest brisk walking around your block a few times, or, intense dance practise :)
