    @F430Fill See my reply to Jahkillian below this. The body stops using muscle for blood sugar within 2 or 3 days. You can confirm that in medical texts on fasting, such as “Fasting and Eating for Health” by Joel Fuhrman, MD or “Fasting” by Alan Carr, MD.

    @Jahkillian The body does not need protein every day. People who fast for 40 days or more have no problem. Muscle loss? After 2 days or women and 3 days for men the body stops burning muscle for blood sugar and begins to burn fat. So, it’s only about 2 pounds. Underweight people usually stop losing weight at that point.

Other than that, many people do the Master Cleanse while taking prescription drugs and get great results. By the way, if these are psychiatric drugs, you should visit TheRoadBack (dot) org. This site has instructions for safely getting off such.

    @thinkpink1985 Jogging, running, walking, any aerobic exercise is great and you’ll find that (except for detox days) you’ll have more energy and can do more. However, bodybuilding and weights are counterproductive because you don’t have protein to build muscles. Do the bodybuilding after the cleanse.
