Easy meal 4 weight loss & muscle gain, healthy too

quinoa is a wonder grain, high in protein, high in fiber, and low in fat. Even I can cook it, just two ingredients: quinoa and salsa. Let it boil 15min and its done.

1 serving (1/4 cup dry) has:
170 calories
6g protein
3g fiber
3g fat

For a great meal, have quinoa with 1/2 cup cooked pinto beans (or half a chicken breast) and a piece of fruit.

    @abodiginal69, What you point out is exactly why America is obese. We have been trained by thousands of advertisements and TV shows to think that the only tasty, delicious meal is a double cheesburger with fries. Anything that looks healthy is scoffed at.

Kids like you with high metabolism get used to being able to eat anything and everything without getting fat then as their metabolism changes in their 20′s and they become less physically active ( a double whammy) they pack on the fat pounds till they wake up 30 and rotund.

    @Avenger7x, all plant sources of protein are “calorie dense” but that is a good thing. Its because they consist mostly of high quality complex carbs and lots of fiber. A pseudo-vegetarian needs to add a bit of animal protein each day (whey for me) to get the requisite daily protein without exceeding my daily caloric needs.

    Even though quinoa is high in protein and fiber and low in fat, it’s quite calorie dense for the most part and there are better options for weight loss/muscle gain. But, this is a great ingredient for bodybuilders or anyone who is looking for something new to put into the diet.

    To make veins pop. You just have to hang the body part you want to pop the veins with lower then the rest of your body. Its not to healthy tho so be warned. Example, arm curls done hanging lower then your knee for arms. For chest u’d have to do decline dumble flys i would guess. But becareful you can damage eyes with high presures doing this if you push to hard. Good luck!
